I think talking about cops is one of the few times where I am willing to specifically emphasize the "criminal" nature of someone's activities.
"Crimes" are whatever the State says they are. When "Law Enforcement" officers commit crimes, it's a very relevant fact.
"Law Enforcement" is just a fancy word for "cops" and all cops are bastards.
